Self-Rescuer is a chemical oxygen rebreather which will supply up to 30 minutes of air. It works by generating oxygen from chemical potassium superoxide (KO2). THis will provide an oxygen supply, based on the users consumption as it always adjusts itself to the demand. In turn the breathing resistance of the wearer will control the service time.
Requires a service every year, internal leak test by 3rd party after 5 years and is scrap after 10 years
