BACA team members Andy Farmer (pictured) and David Drummond-Murray recently abseiled down the Northampton Express Lifts Tower to raise money for charity.

Standing at over 418 feet tall, the tower's height didn’t deter Andy and David, who braved the wind and snow to complete the challenge.

"I am absolutely terrified of heights," said David, Shop Sales Account Manager, who has worked at BACA for four years. "It did help to conquer my fear, but more importantly it was such a worthwhile cause to be part of."

The event was held in memory of the event organiser’s friend Lee Cave, who sadly passed away from a brain tumour. As the former head of Longtown Outdoor Learning Centre, Lee worked for over 20 years supporting thousands of Northamptonshire children.

Donations from the fund will be used to support a number of charities and initiatives, including Cancer Research and Melanoma UK, along with the brain tumour unit where Lee was treated.
